A wonderful end to June for me and a perfect summers day at Hestercombe Gardens for Rebecca & Jamie. With beautiful flowers from Pumpkin and Pye, I loved the guys 1930’s style suits. My only disappointment was that I was promised Slayer as the first dance and it was Al Green 😦 Fantastic day, congratulations to you both x

On a sunny June afternoon where better to be holding your wedding than outside in the sea air at Tunnels Beaches. That is exactly what Jordan & Vicky did! And this couple have impecable taste booking Dan Brazier Magician and Roger Styles to entertain their guests.
I always get excited when I receive an enquiry from a fellow photographer and was so pleased when Elizabeth and Dan chose me to be their wedding photographer.
There was a little panic the week before the wedding when the Met office predicted that Monday(wedding day) was going to be downpours all day , Dan even recounted the moment Elizabeth checked the weather and saw the predicted rain and a tear rolled down her cheek, she didn’t need to worry though as the rain came early and was passed North Devon hours before their ceremony.
Elizabeth’s dress and the bridesmaids dresses were stunning and Dan scrubbed up well in his suit.
Tunnels was decorated with vibrant summer flowers by the talented Pumpkin and Pye which fitted in perfectly with the style of the wedding. I loved the light bulbs of flowers around the gazebo and the jars of flowers which lined the aisle.
A sunny North Devon beach wedding at Tunnels Beaches for our RAF couple Rachael & Dan.
it started off wet and cloudy in the morning but turned into a beautiful Summers day and evening at Tunnels.
A lovely couple to work with and a great fun filled day.
What could be more romantic than exclusive use of a historic country house steeped in history dating back to 1755, set in 80 acres of stunning East Devon countryside with the opulence and comforts of a top boutique hotel? Deer Park has it all. Favoured by Evolve for its quirky vintage drawing room and the quintessentially Englishness of this 18th century Georgian Manor I am always pleased when I receive a booking to shoot a Wedding at The Deer Park, a venue I have been working at for over 12 years.
From intimate weddings for only close friends & family to large wedding ceremonies of up to 130 the house and garden can cater for most. The Bridal suite makes a spacious getting ready room with good natural light lending itself to lovely natural photographs.
From photographs of the couple in the beautiful surrounding Devon countryside views, to the wild flower secret gardens and impressive driveway the Deer Park is a wedding photographers’ dream venue, and a firm favourite of mine.
Whether your wedding is Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter I enjoy capturing the changing seasons of Deer Park and it is as suited to a hot summers day as it is to a winter wedding beside a roaring log fire.
Jenny and Chris were married at the beautiful Deer Park near Honiton last week on a mild October day. The rain held off meaning they were able to have their ceremony outside at the front of the hotel.
I’ve photographed outside ceremonies at Deer Park before but never one at the front of the Hotel, it worked really well with the fountain and a few Pumpkins making a nice feature. A great fun filled wedding day. congratulations guys!
A beautiful, crisp early October day at Huntsham Court was the perfect setting for Emily and Adam’s wedding, A day filled with laughter, hugs, smiles, love and lots of handmade touches.
The planned rain never appeared with beautiful sunshine all day instead
Heres a little preview from the day….
